5 out of 5 stars Miracle in a bottle!
KimmyDawn

Although this has sunscreen in it, I've been using it at night. I've been told you should use a good moisturizer with retinol at night when your body is actively repairing itself. I've been using this for only four days and the results are unbelievable!I have very fair, sensitive skin with large pores and a lot of redness, especially on my nose. I also have a lot of sun spots, especially near the corners of my eyes and above my upper lip. I think those will be the toughest fix, and I've seen only a slight improvement in them (like I say, it's only been 4 days). The reason I was in such a rush to write this review is because the redness and large pores have been reduced SIGNIFICANTLY - something I never expected and had just learned to live with. My skin is also much smoother looking and feeling, with a noticeable improvement in fine lines already. My skin hasn't looked this good in years! Did I mention it's been 4 days?!Update (11/5/11): When this bottle was gone, I tried RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream based on the glowing reviews. I was not impressed and have since gone back to this product.

5 out of 5 stars Feels really good on my skin

My 57-year-old skin is very sensitive and VERY dry. I've never liked to use creams on my face because they either sit there on the surface or feel greasy or are too smelly or get in my eyes or break my face out. This Neutrogena moisturizer does none of the above. When I first put it on my face, my skin literally felt grateful; I don't know how else to say it. There was no heavy odor, and my skin drank the moisturizer in like it was dying of thirst. It probably was! The first night, I kept putting on more until I felt my skin had had enough. After that, I've smoothed on just a little each night before bed. It goes on light but is not a lightweight moisturizer by any means.I didn't want to review this product until I'd used it a few weeks, and now that I have I've got to say I absolutely love it. My face looks brighter, my skin feels good, and yet it's like I don't have anything on my face. It's like my own skin, but 20+ years younger. I don't wear makeup, so I don't know how makeup would do on top of this, but I can't imagine it would do anything but improve your appearance.Highly recommended product.

4 out of 5 stars Light and Lovely

I have dry and very sensitive skin, and not many skin creams work for me; Neutrogena's Continuous Hydration Ageless Essentials is a good match for my skin, but not for night use. I would need something much heavier to last the night. It is great for daytime, excellent under makeup, and seems to visibly smooth out my skin and leave it with a nice feel. The consistency is very light and almost has a "whipped" look to it, and the first time I slathered it on my face and neck it was absorbed in seconds. The second (or even third) coat seems to be necessary for me, in order to last through several hours of wear. It has a pleasant aroma, and I especially love it on my neck and upper chest area, which soaks it up like a sponge.Well worth having if you like to vary your face creams and try something new, but don't expect it to be a thick night cream. Light and lovely it is, for thirsty skin in a world where your skin, because of pollution, etc. needs constant tender loving care.

5 out of 5 stars Best eye cream, EVER

I have tried practically every department store brand eye cream out there that is anti-wrinkle and costs from $70-$120, and believe me, this one beats them all!I've used it for years and it is the only eye cream that almost instantly plumps up the under-eye areas and diminishes fine lines. When I get bored with it and want to try something new, I regret it within days because fine lines appear quickly once I stop using it.When you first start using it, it is a bit harsh, likely because of the Retinol. Yes, it stings a bit and makes your eyes water. But within a few days your skin gets used to it and then you're on your way. I use a tiny pea size and dab it around my eyes, and let it absorb well (takes a few minutes). I notice the difference as soon as it's fully absorbed.

5 out of 5 stars Review from an Ageing Man ...

First, let me just tell you that my wife just shook her head at me and said I was vain, but I soldiered on regardless.I'm fair complected. Irish descent. Close to forty. Getting closer every day. I live in the desert. Palm Desert, California to be precise. It hits in the 100's most days during the summer months and this place, with its high winds can make a man look like leather faster than you can say 'Michael Caine'.I've been using this nightly hydration moisturizer for approximately a month just about every other night and I will say that there is a noticeable difference in the 'texture' or 'sheen' of my skin, which usually feels ... rough. Now after 30 days my face is noticeable smoother and also less wrinkled, especially around the eyes. I'll be honest and just tell you that I have a tendency to get a bit leathery the closer it gets to summer every year as I get pretty dark.I also have sensitive skin and I didn't experience any blemishes or breakouts or oily residue. It doesn't smell funny or anything. Not a bad product. They should package it in an all black container and market it to men, it would succeed. I've already repurchased another bottle.
