Great Product for the Price

Was using Kinerase line before trying this product...went immediately from my Kinerase regimen (cleanser,toner, cream, and eye formula)to the Olay Pro X line...it's been three weeks and I cannot tell a difference between Kinerase and Pro X...will definitely purchase ProX again. I have read some disappointing reviews of this product line but I strongly beg to differ. I was pleasantly suprised. As much as any of us hate to admit, how well we age is determined predominately by genetics plus exercise, good nutrition, hydration, sunscreen and regular skin care. No skin care line is going to be a miracle for any of us...my philosophy is to think young and age gracefully. If you are still not satisfied, consider a plastic surgeon. Besides, Consumer Reports (both USA and France)tested a variety of skincare lines (StriVectin, Lancome, La Mer, included) and found that after a couple of months, Olay had the BEST results of any of them...and I must admit that Consumer Reports is usually on target. I recommend this line...and if the ProX is too much, Regenerist is a great alternative. I am very satifsfied and will continue to purchase this product in the future Why I have wasted so much money on lines like Kinerase, Dr Hauschka, and NV Perricone, I'll never know. I guess we really want to believe that the more expensive a product line, the better it is...save your money and spend it on great hair color, cut and makeup...just as effective in my humble opinion.

I am a pale, blue eyed blonde with roseacea from my red haired irish mother. My skin is my worst feature, so I have spent years and money chasing every skin care promise made by most American manufacturers. In my experience, Olay has been an "ok" product, but seemed "watery" to me, never a very effective line for moisturizing skin that really needs moisture. The Pro-X Hydra Firming Cream was a total surprise. It felt like silk going on, and my skin went to a "normal" color of skin....it eliminated the redness (not permanently, but for about 10 hours until the next application). I don't know how to express the feeling this gives my skin other than to say my skin felt "relaxed", and my color "calmed down." I re-ordered this product because while it did noticeably help the appearance of fine lines, I mostly became addicted to how it made my skin feel. I do put a moisturizer on top of the Hydra firming cream, and it seems to work fine in cooperation with a moisturizer.

I love this cream. I have been suffering for several years with atopic dermatitus. My forehead gets dry and extremely itchy, and I am prone to fungal infections behind my ears and on my neck. As far as the latter, my dermatologist said that my skin barrier wasn't working as it should. I recently went through allergy patch testing and now know what hair care products that I'm allergic to. Steroid creams provide relief from the itching and the dry skin, but they thin the skin and turn it red. When I heard the ProX commercial and the words, "restores moisture barrier", I had to try this product. I now avoid those products to which I am allergic, and use this cream. In the morning I put the cream on my forehead and ears before my makeup routine, and in the evening I use the cream as suggested. My skin is on the mend, and looks great. Does it firm the skin? I've seen some improvement in the deep folds that run from my nose to my chin. I will continue to use this product.

This cream is such a change from the oily night creams I've been using (like L'Oreal Revitalift, other Olay products, Avon, Arbonne, Lancome). It has a wonderful, silky texture. It is a bit tacky until completely absorbed, but my skin looks more radiant, is much better hydrated and yes, looks and feels much firmer. I don't know if the firmness is just a temporary or cosmetic illusion, or if in time the product will actually make my skin firmer, but I swear I am seeing a difference in my neck, face and decollete. I'm using the Pro-X Starter Kit with this product, and I'm using the Hydra cream twice a day.

Since entering my 30's my skin has started to show some unfortunate signs of the mistreatment I inflicted on it during my teens and early 20's (repeated sunburns in attempts to "tan" my fair skin). I have tried many different products and will look no further. You won't find me without this cream. I have to admit, I had modest expectations of an "all-natural" product, but could no longer reconcile spending the money to eat organically while slathering my body with chemicals. To my pleasant surprise, Bel essence outperformed the l'occitane night cream I had been using with a $100+ price tag. I live in a cold climate and always have skin problems during the winter. My skin was very dry, actually flaking on my cheeks, at the time I started using the Bel Essence. This resolved completely within two applications. Since then, the texture has continued to improve. It is now soft, smooth, and I am seeing a significant improvement in the fine lines around my eyes and across my forehead. It is very soothing, and absorbs quickly. It does have a vanilla fragrance, my 6 year old says it makes my face smell like ice cream. It dissipates quickly after application. I am not sure how it would work for someone with oily skin, but it is the best product I have found for dry skin showing early signs of aging.

Since I could no longer obtain my face moisturizer, I had to try other moisturizers. I was not happy, all disappointed me and I just wanted my original face cream back. I am 65 and my dermatologist was so impressed with my skin condition he wanted to know the name and ingredients of my moisturizer, and even the one he recommended I didn't like. After doing some research on face creams I decided to give Bel Essence a try. Even though it was a smaller amount for the money, you will get so much more than you thought, because you use a very small amount. I just skim 2 fingers over the top of the cream and very gently rub it into my face, dividing into four sections. First each side, then my forehead and chin and neck next. What I thought was a greasy feel in all reality was a dewy feel on the skin. AWESOME....truthfully, I am ordering more and you will not regret buying this cream also. I have purchased literally hundreds of products from Amazon over the years, and this is the first one that I have felt compelled to review.My favorite thing about this product aside from the results (which I promise you will see,) is the absolutely incredible smell. It's the softest, gentlest, most inoffensive vanilla I've ever smelled, and I would wear it as a daily fragrance in a heartbeat. It's not sticky-sweet or too gourmand, nor is it too sterile and clean. Just an absolutely lovely gentle soft smell that makes me think of falling into a feather pillow at the end of a long day. I just started using this product a few days ago and can already see increased brightness and suppleness in my skin. My main concern is to target a few fine lines around my eyes. They appear to be slightly faded already but I am looking forward to seeing the results after a month! I am also pleasantly surprised to find out that some of the oils such as Almond oil contains high amounts of Vitamins E and D, magnesium, and calcium help with dark circles and baby soft skin! All of these nutrients are beneficial. It is similar in composition to the oil babies excrete to keep their skin healthy, so it is a natural alternative to baby oil. I decided to try this product out after hearing reviews on CAMU CAMU and the benefits for your skin. I checked a few other product but settled on this one. The ingredients are very high quality. Along with the CAMU CAMU it includes Shea Butter, Aloe, Pure Green Tea Extract & Collagen to name a few, all wonderful for the skin. The cream itself is rich but light on the skin and absorbs easily without leaving a greasy feeling. It went on perfectly under my make up. I love how plump and moist my skin looked and felt after a few uses. And a little goes a long way. I would definitely recommend this to others.

I really like this moisturizing cream. Now that I live in Florida my skin, especially my face gets a lit more sun exposure than it has in my entire life. I have been using this day and night for about a week and I really like the results. My face seems more plump and radiant. I see my fine lines around my eyes and lips are fading. It's a nice light cream. It's rich and thick so I only use a tiny bit but it's not heavy feeling and absorbs in quickly leaving my skin petal soft. Very nice. This face cream is wonderful. It slips on like silk and makes your skin silky too! The results I have seen have been amazing. My fine lines around my eyes are slowly diminishing and I really think this cream is making such a difference! I love all of the amazing ingredients which all bring in their own beauty benefits. If I have any excess, I rub it into my elbows to make them smooth as well. I do keep it in the bathroom and my husband and daughter use it. I am in LOVE with this anti-aging cream moisturizer. Now that I'm in my 40s, I find that my face gets really dry and tight after washing with soap and water. This is BY FAR the most amazing moisturizer I have ever used! That is no exaggeration! Loving this cream. It's heavy enough that it works great as a spa day treat, but it absorbs nicely so it works for a morning skin treat before you put your face on to fight the days battles. The smell is very light so it won't clash with your favorite cologne and the extra left on your hands after massaging it into your face is so nice on your hands. And purely aesthetics, the jar is beautiful but simply elegant. All around a winner.As an aside, purely personal, I am allergic to so many things on the market today so I am hesitant to try new things. This one makes my face feel a little warm, but I don't pink up and no hives. Win Win for me :)

I am in love with this face cream. First let me start out by saying that the jar is very pretty and of high quality as is the cream itself. I just turned 46 yrs old and have been searching for a great face cream. The cream feels so good on my face. I have very sensitive skin and this did not irritate my skin at all. It goes on your face with out leaving an oily residue and it smells very clean and fresh. OMG! I just put this on my face! Wow, wow, wow.....I not only feel a difference, there is actually a physical difference in my skin..that fast! I will be using it as a night cream, as I have very oily skin and can't use anything during the day at all. But, I can use this at night. After doing quite a bit of reading and research I decided to get the 1.0mm roller for my face. Let me say it does not hurt at all! I began rolling very lightly and was able to increase pressure right away...but I did not put heavy pressure as this is contraindicated for any rolling. It actually felt good...sounds weird but true. Afterward my face was red like a light sunburn and that is normal. It was actually more uncomfortable after rolling than during as it felt like a sunburn, which again is normal. I used my all natural products following the procedure. The next day my face was still had a sunburn appearance until mid afternoon and I rolled the night before. My face felt tight and smooth. My main goal is to even out skin tone, erase darkly pigmented areas and produce collagen to fill in some forehead lines that are starting and lines vertical frown lines on the inner sides of my eyebrows.I am a RN and after much research here are my recommendations:- Make sure and cleanse face thoroughly prior to rolling and clean face with alcohol on cotton fully two times...with fresh cotton swab on second time.- Make sure hair is pulled back completely- Soak your roller in at least 70% alcohol 15-30 min prior to procedure and afterwards- Make sure to only use 100% natural products on your face afterwards! Not only have my scars become less visible, but I also had some dark pigmentation spots on my face since I had kids. The pigmentation has lightened quite a bit.I use this once a day, in the evening before bed. I wash my face with a mild soap, then I spend about 5 minutes using this derma roller on my face. I then wash my face again with an acne wash and apply my night cream. My face feels great and my skin tone is evening out. So excited. I think I may add this to my morning routine and possibly try in other areas too (stretch marks).Oh, it is really simple to clean also. I just keep a small baby food jar of rubbing alcohol in the bathroom that I dip it in when I am done using it.

I got this a couple of weeks ago and have only used it twice, so I will update my review as I get more use out of it.I did a lot of research, but was still very concerned about how my skin would react to the Derma Roller. I have very sensitive skin and constantly have acne breakouts. My skin problems didn't start until I turned 18, prior to that my skin was perfect. I suffer from all forms of acne from blackheads to cystic acne, and haven't had any relief in the 10 years since it started--despite trying everything recommended by the dermatologist, including SEVERAL laser treatments and chemical peels. As you might have guessed, on top of the constant breakouts, I also have severe scarring. I am very self conscious about my skin and even though I have spent thousands of dollars in search of relief, only to be let down again, I am still open to trying anything and everything that could potentially help. Which leads to me purchasing the Derma Roller...Upon ordering this, my primary concern was that I would cause some sort of additional infection and only end up making my skin worse. In addition to be concerned about how my skin would react, I was also concerned about the pain. Well, I am happy to say that thus far, my acne is actually gone and my skin is already improving AND best of all it's nearly painless!!Again, my skin is very sensitive and stays red for a solid 24 hours following a Derma Roller treatment so I have only been doing it every 5 days. I had been using a regular old Olay Touch of Foundation and couldn't find it anymore; so I decided to try this 7-in-1 Anti-Aging Daily Moisturizer as I really dislike wearing regular foundation; and I wanted something without sunscreen.The first day I wore it, a friend of mine commented "You look great--you look like . . . you've had a facelift or something." I didn't realize til later that it must have been the tinted moisturizer. And just today, someone commented that I looked about 15 years younger than I actually am--she said my skin looked so smooth. Well, I think that's the product. I have sensitive, dry skin and rosacea, and while this product doesn't actually cover the redness, it seems to tone it down.Highly recommend.

I love this moisturizer. It's hard to match my coloring and harder still for me to apply foundation with patience, so I tend to stay away from heavy foundations. But this is fairly light, and still provides the appearance of more even, brighter, tighter skin. I can layer it easily as well depending on the coverage I am looking for. I also notice the fine lines around my eyes less, and this produict feels amazing once it's on. The only drawback is that you may need additional products for when you just want hydration and not foundation (like nighttime). And this probably goies without saying, but you will want to wash your face to avoid small pimples.

I started using this a couple of years ago and really like it. I have a mild rosey cheeks and nose and have never liked using foundations. This moisturizer was a wonderful find, it simply evens out the tone of my skin without that caked on appearance. I prefer to use the regenerist serium (face and eye) just after showering, then I put on Purpose moisturizer with UV protection. I usually put my make up on last (after hair drying and brushingteeth), so just before putting on makeup I use the total effects with touch of foundation moisturizer. Yes, I'm using two moisturizers but I have always used Purpose with UV so I simply added Olay Total Effects with a touch of foundation and love the evening out of my skin tone. A very light powder put on with a brush(not a pad) is all you need to knock down any shiny appearance. Do not confuse Touch of Foundation with Touch of Sun. Touch of Sun is like a self tanner which may work fine(not my cup of tea), but the two are completely different.

I recently tried this product, I use many olay products and wanted to try something new. on the first night using it i noticed there were some red marks on my forehead, but i just assumed it was nothing, but on day 2 of using it, my ENTIRE FACE was covered in small bumps. This is a great moisturizer especially with the touch of foundation. There are a lot of days when I do not apply any make-up over this. When I do apply my make-up, I find it takes less for a full coverage due to the foundation. It is great on my neck as well. The touch of foundation is just enough to cover some roscea I have, but not too much where you need to be concerned about having a streak. If you have oily skin, use little. As they say, a little goes a long way. Very easy to spread on face.

This moisturizer has the right amount of foundation. I really love the lightness of the product and it leaves my face looking luminous. It does not dirty my clothes the way makeup would and it lasts all day long. I would recommend this product.

I love this product! It's great for when you get out of the shower. It feels like moisturizer but at the same time it evens out your skin-tone and gives you great color. It's very light and not too creamy. Also a little bit goes a long way! The only con to this product is that it's not great for night time. The touch of foundation does not feel good before bed!
