OLAY--a brand name which sets high standards for other skincare products to follow. The original, pink "Oil of Olay" beauty lotion was used by all the women in my family, and they were beauties! I was delighted to have the opportunity to review Olay Total Effects Anti-Aging Moisturizer With SPF 30, 1.7 Fluid Ounce. This thick, rich, non-greasy cream comes in a substantial pump bottle which makes application quick and easy. A little goes a long way, so just press lightly on the pump. An anti-aging moisturizer with a sunscreen, this multi-tasking beautifier is perfect for women on-the-go who want to simplfy their skincare routine. With the first application, I noticed an improvement in the hydration and appearance of my overall skin texture. Now, with continued use, my skin looks very smooth and more evenly-toned. Fine lines have softened, especially around the eyes and mouth. An unexpected bonus: this beauty cream adds a soft sheen to the skin, leaving it with a subtle, radiant glow. I can skip foundation and just use a light dusting of loose powder--a real plus for an active day.

I started using Olay Total Effects 7 as soon as it came out. I loved that I could use one product for basically everything - in my twenties, I didn’t need a separate night or eye cream as long as I used this. It was available in several varieties, and I’ve tried most of them. That it was available with SPF (15) or without was a plus, because sometimes the foundation I used didn’t have any. It was lightweight, never greasy, didn’t irritate my skin or cause breakouts, and it smelled great. I’ve tried many other products over the years but I always came back to Olay Total Effects 7.My lifestyle has changed significantly over the years, though. I’m a lot more apt to do “outdoorsy” things than I was in my twenties. So I was really excited to see Total Effects 7 with SPF 30. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with the results.The texture is radically different. This new Total Effects is a lot heavier than any of the other versions. It’s noticeable from the first pump. It feels completely different going on. It felt more like a thick, drug store brand sunscreen than it did a moisturizer. Fifteen minutes after application, my skin was really shiny and greasy, as if the product didn’t absorb. I have really oily skin to begin with, so this was a huge turn off. I also noticed some tiny bumps on my skin after a couple of days of use.I still love Olay products, and I’ve learned by now (I hope) to stick with them. But I think next time I’ll get the old SPF 15 version and just make sure I use other sun protection measures.

I got this stuff on a whim, and WOW, am I glad I did! This is a very thick, substantial cream so a little goes a long way. After only two days of use, I've noticed a decrease in my fine lines and an improvement in my tone/dark spots. I love the pump feature so I don't have to stick my finger in a jar (and transfer bacteria). I would definitely recommend this product.

The Olay Total Effects Anti-Aging Moisturizer with SPF 30 is an excellent moisturizer. I found my skin feels smooth and clean. No grainy substance as posted in one review. However, I can say that it does provide nourishing moisturization. The protection against sun damage is questionable. Once you have applied make-up over this moisturizer, does the sun protection still apply? According to dermatologists, you need to apply sun screen lotion or cream under the moisturizer for a good effect. And, the directions say to apply every two hours if going into the sun.This moisturizer has a pump effect which is appreciated. The moisturizer has a very slight scent that I like. Heavy or even light perfume scented moisturizers are a real turn off for me. I like the scent, the fact that the moisturizer does leave my skin feeling smooth. I did inadvertently get a small amount into my eye, and even though I rinsed it thoroughly with water several times, it did leave an irritating feeling for 30 minutes or so. Creamy heaven face lotionJordan
I use this lotion daily. It doesn't make my face greasy, only smooth and silky. The SPF 30 is a great thing to have in a world of sunscreen moisturizers with only SPF 15. The only thing I don't like is the price, but it lasts long enough to negate the high price.

I usually use Total Effects SPF 15, unscented, and was pleased to see that they finally came out with the SPF 30. This stuff seems to work as well, if not better than the original.It has no scent and seems a bit thicker in texture than the original. My skin seems improved, a bit, since I've been using it. It seems brighter and clearer. I'm hooked.
