First, I would like to stipulate that I am an avid Skin Ceutical consumer.I have reached my sixties, and although I have been told that "I really look pretty good for my age" I am like most women at this stage in that I have not escaped the inevitable fine lines and the onset of wrinkles. I chose this year to do something about this concern.First I went through a CO2 treatment to get rid of any sunspots that had accumulated over the years. I'm 61 years old, have always taken great care of my skin and am no stranger to a good skin care regime but, despite all my efforts, fine (and not so fine) lines kept appearing and deepening and nothing I tried worked. Over the past few years I've been conscientious about the products that I put on my skin. There are so many (literally thousands) of possible products to use, each one of them with different effects both positive and negative. It's quite hard because of this to find the right balance of products for my skin, which is why I've been diligently trying different recommended products over the past year to find the right combination. I've chosen Olay Total Effects because there are a number of different benefits to this cream that you'd only find by using multiple creams at once. I like the idea of cutting down on what I put on my face, not adding more. It gives me UV protection which his crucial, and also has plenty of Niacinamide (Vitamin B) which helps prevent the aging of skin. One thing this product does not have is a lot of Vitamin C. They use simple ascorbic acid in this product, which is supposed to help the face absorb the moisture. I waited several months before rating this product to make sure it was good for long term use. I have always had combination skin and was concerned it wouldn't work. It has been the product I've been waiting for. I wish I would've purchased Olay 7-IN-1 a long time ago. I have had problems with acne, oily skin, and areas on my cheeks that resemble rosacea. After using this product I am pleasantly surprised. Everything has improved dramatically. My husband has noticed the improvement. Ok I was going to wait until I used this awhile before I gave a review because people give reviews after a few days and says how great something is without giving it a chance to work or not work.I've been using this since beginning of December. I am 47 so started getting wrinkles under my eyes ugghhh. So got this due to the reviews but was skeptic. I put it under my eyes in the morning when I took a shower and waited for it to try maybe 5 mins and then put my own lotion on it. I started seeing results in 2 weeks not one day like someone say. But it's been almost 2 months and I have no wrinkles under my eyes. Not sure how it gets rid of them? I am guessing it plumps your skin up somehow but it's got me hooked and I'll continue to use it. Hope this helps someone.

This stuff is amazing and so affordable, I wish I had discovered it years ago. I noticed an immediate overnight change in the texture of my skin, it was smoother, my pores were smaller. I've used several brands of hyaluronic acid to help my skin look fresher and more youthful, and this is by far the best! It has a wonderful emollient texture that makes it easy and pleasant to apply, but doesn't slow the drying. It smells like roses, and that's a pleasant bonus. (I don't like most product fragrances, but this one is light and natural). And, most important of all, it works wonderfully and causes no flaking, breakouts, or weirdness.One thing I should note: I apply this first and let it dry before I apply my moisturizer. The general idea is that hyaluronic acid pulls moisture into your skin and keeps it there; in itself, it does not moisturize. So I don't know how well it would work if used in any other way, but it definitely helps my skin utilize my moisturizer and the difference is immediately visible.

I am 66 and I have used GM Collin for years. There were so many bottles to keep track of what to put on when and it was getting too expensive. Okay, it's only been a few days but I swear I can already see a difference. I was BORN with scowl marks, and believe it or not, they seem to be less severe already. Im 54 yrs old have dry skin. I was using the la mer for about 6 months and just switched to Vernal. Within 1 week I have seem a softening on the lines around my mouth & between my eyebrows. Not greasy, soaks right in and my skin is soft and smooth as could be. Expensive yes, but it works. The cream is thicker than la mer but doesn't sink into lines. I just turned 30 last month, so I only have some fine lines. I had a lot of skin imperfections, however, such as dark spots and overall uneven blotchiness. Acne isn't normally an issue for me, but a new medication caused me to get a horrible break out that left me with dark marks that I couldn't even cover up without being obvious. After I got rid of the acne, I decided to look for something to get rid of the marks.After a week and a half, only 2 spots were still standing. I had some mild, fine lines around my eyes and mouth from being a smoker for 10 years, and these are gone now that a month has passed.I have to say, even if the lines and spots were still there; I would continue to use this product because my skin is no longer blotchy, it's firmer and I have a nice smooth complexion. People have been asking me what I've been doing - they can't put their fingers on it, but they say I have a glow to me and that I look great. That's definitely worth the money, in my book.

Great Product for the Price

Was using Kinerase line before trying this product...went immediately from my Kinerase regimen (cleanser,toner, cream, and eye formula)to the Olay Pro X line...it's been three weeks and I cannot tell a difference between Kinerase and Pro X...will definitely purchase ProX again. I have read some disappointing reviews of this product line but I strongly beg to differ. I was pleasantly suprised. As much as any of us hate to admit, how well we age is determined predominately by genetics plus exercise, good nutrition, hydration, sunscreen and regular skin care. No skin care line is going to be a miracle for any of us...my philosophy is to think young and age gracefully. If you are still not satisfied, consider a plastic surgeon. Besides, Consumer Reports (both USA and France)tested a variety of skincare lines (StriVectin, Lancome, La Mer, included) and found that after a couple of months, Olay had the BEST results of any of them...and I must admit that Consumer Reports is usually on target. I recommend this line...and if the ProX is too much, Regenerist is a great alternative. I am very satifsfied and will continue to purchase this product in the future Why I have wasted so much money on lines like Kinerase, Dr Hauschka, and NV Perricone, I'll never know. I guess we really want to believe that the more expensive a product line, the better it is...save your money and spend it on great hair color, cut and makeup...just as effective in my humble opinion.

I am a pale, blue eyed blonde with roseacea from my red haired irish mother. My skin is my worst feature, so I have spent years and money chasing every skin care promise made by most American manufacturers. In my experience, Olay has been an "ok" product, but seemed "watery" to me, never a very effective line for moisturizing skin that really needs moisture. The Pro-X Hydra Firming Cream was a total surprise. It felt like silk going on, and my skin went to a "normal" color of skin....it eliminated the redness (not permanently, but for about 10 hours until the next application). I don't know how to express the feeling this gives my skin other than to say my skin felt "relaxed", and my color "calmed down." I re-ordered this product because while it did noticeably help the appearance of fine lines, I mostly became addicted to how it made my skin feel. I do put a moisturizer on top of the Hydra firming cream, and it seems to work fine in cooperation with a moisturizer.

I love this cream. I have been suffering for several years with atopic dermatitus. My forehead gets dry and extremely itchy, and I am prone to fungal infections behind my ears and on my neck. As far as the latter, my dermatologist said that my skin barrier wasn't working as it should. I recently went through allergy patch testing and now know what hair care products that I'm allergic to. Steroid creams provide relief from the itching and the dry skin, but they thin the skin and turn it red. When I heard the ProX commercial and the words, "restores moisture barrier", I had to try this product. I now avoid those products to which I am allergic, and use this cream. In the morning I put the cream on my forehead and ears before my makeup routine, and in the evening I use the cream as suggested. My skin is on the mend, and looks great. Does it firm the skin? I've seen some improvement in the deep folds that run from my nose to my chin. I will continue to use this product.

This cream is such a change from the oily night creams I've been using (like L'Oreal Revitalift, other Olay products, Avon, Arbonne, Lancome). It has a wonderful, silky texture. It is a bit tacky until completely absorbed, but my skin looks more radiant, is much better hydrated and yes, looks and feels much firmer. I don't know if the firmness is just a temporary or cosmetic illusion, or if in time the product will actually make my skin firmer, but I swear I am seeing a difference in my neck, face and decollete. I'm using the Pro-X Starter Kit with this product, and I'm using the Hydra cream twice a day.

Well, maybe not instant ... it takes a few minutes! I don't know if this cream has any long-lasting effects, but it does everything it promises and does it well. You don't need to use a lot ... just apply it to the areas with wrinkles and prepare to be pleasantly surprised.

Since entering my 30's my skin has started to show some unfortunate signs of the mistreatment I inflicted on it during my teens and early 20's (repeated sunburns in attempts to "tan" my fair skin). I have tried many different products and will look no further. You won't find me without this cream. I have to admit, I had modest expectations of an "all-natural" product, but could no longer reconcile spending the money to eat organically while slathering my body with chemicals. To my pleasant surprise, Bel essence outperformed the l'occitane night cream I had been using with a $100+ price tag. I live in a cold climate and always have skin problems during the winter. My skin was very dry, actually flaking on my cheeks, at the time I started using the Bel Essence. This resolved completely within two applications. Since then, the texture has continued to improve. It is now soft, smooth, and I am seeing a significant improvement in the fine lines around my eyes and across my forehead. It is very soothing, and absorbs quickly. It does have a vanilla fragrance, my 6 year old says it makes my face smell like ice cream. It dissipates quickly after application. I am not sure how it would work for someone with oily skin, but it is the best product I have found for dry skin showing early signs of aging.

Since I could no longer obtain my face moisturizer, I had to try other moisturizers. I was not happy, all disappointed me and I just wanted my original face cream back. I am 65 and my dermatologist was so impressed with my skin condition he wanted to know the name and ingredients of my moisturizer, and even the one he recommended I didn't like. After doing some research on face creams I decided to give Bel Essence a try. Even though it was a smaller amount for the money, you will get so much more than you thought, because you use a very small amount. I just skim 2 fingers over the top of the cream and very gently rub it into my face, dividing into four sections. First each side, then my forehead and chin and neck next. What I thought was a greasy feel in all reality was a dewy feel on the skin. AWESOME....truthfully, I am ordering more and you will not regret buying this cream also. I am very proud to give this product a 5 star rating.

I have purchased literally hundreds of products from Amazon over the years, and this is the first one that I have felt compelled to review.My favorite thing about this product aside from the results (which I promise you will see,) is the absolutely incredible smell. It's the softest, gentlest, most inoffensive vanilla I've ever smelled, and I would wear it as a daily fragrance in a heartbeat. It's not sticky-sweet or too gourmand, nor is it too sterile and clean. Just an absolutely lovely gentle soft smell that makes me think of falling into a feather pillow at the end of a long day. The cream has the texture of heavy whipping cream, and is an absolute joy to apply.I just purchased it 2 weeks ago, and have since been using it every day to follow AHA/vitamin C serum in the AM and retinol in the PM. I could not gush more about how much my skin has improved in texture, elasticity, evenness of complexion, smoothness, softness, youthfulness...I am only 23, but am an engineering student at the most prestigious public university in my country; I sleep maybe 30 hours a week and don't have time to take care of myself, so my skin is an absolute nightmare. I just started using this product a few days ago and can already see increased brightness and suppleness in my skin. My main concern is to target a few fine lines around my eyes. They appear to be slightly faded already but I am looking forward to seeing the results after a month! I am also pleasantly surprised to find out that some of the oils such as Almond oil contains high amounts of Vitamins E and D, magnesium, and calcium help with dark circles and baby soft skin! All of these nutrients are beneficial. It is similar in composition to the oil babies excrete to keep their skin healthy, so it is a natural alternative to baby oil. It moisturizes and nourishes the skin, helps your skin retain or restore its glow, and lightens dark circles under the eyes. For years, I've tried various skin care moisturizers, creams, serums, etc (Ahava, Derma E, La Roche, to include using natural oils individually (argan, rose hip, virgin coconut oil) all of which have rave reviews but didn't seem to work for me. I decided to try this product out after hearing reviews on CAMU CAMU and the benefits for your skin. I checked a few other product but settled on this one. The ingredients are very high quality. Along with the CAMU CAMU it includes Shea Butter, Aloe, Pure Green Tea Extract & Collagen to name a few, all wonderful for the skin. The cream itself is rich but light on the skin and absorbs easily without leaving a greasy feeling. It went on perfectly under my make up. I love how plump and moist my skin looked and felt after a few uses. And a little goes a long way. I would definitely recommend this to others.

I really like this moisturizing cream. Now that I live in Florida my skin, especially my face gets a lit more sun exposure than it has in my entire life. I have been using this day and night for about a week and I really like the results. My face seems more plump and radiant. I see my fine lines around my eyes and lips are fading. It's a nice light cream. It's rich and thick so I only use a tiny bit but it's not heavy feeling and absorbs in quickly leaving my skin petal soft. Very nice. It has a lovely, very light scent that fades almost immediately. I will order more. I do recommend

This face cream is wonderful. It slips on like silk and makes your skin silky too! The results I have seen have been amazing. My fine lines around my eyes are slowly diminishing and I really think this cream is making such a difference! I love all of the amazing ingredients which all bring in their own beauty benefits. If I have any excess, I rub it into my elbows to make them smooth as well. I do keep it in the bathroom and my husband and daughter use it. I know for a fact that it has helped my husband's sun damaged skin look healthier. A little does go a long way!

I am in LOVE with this anti-aging cream moisturizer. Now that I'm in my 40s, I find that my face gets really dry and tight after washing with soap and water. I use this moisturizer in the morning and in the evening and I love the results. My face has never felt so good! The cream is extremely light and rich-feeling, it only takes a tiny bit to use! The size is extremely ample and a great value for the price. I love that these little tiny lines I've been noticing around my lips and eyes are fading as well!!!!I love how soft my face feels after using this moisturizer. I truly believe that they've found a winner here with the Goji berry, the Aloe, Green Tea and Shea Butter combination (among other ingredients). I definitely would HIGHLY recommend this product!

This is BY FAR the most amazing moisturizer I have ever used! That is no exaggeration! I have sensitive skin so most of the products I've tried in the past usually burn my face and turn it all red and splotchy (ask my kids, they say I look like an alien). What I love most is well... everything!! For starters, it's rich & creamy and a little goes a long way. It's not greasy one bit and absorbs quickly. It's unscented but you know how some "Unscented" products still have some kind of smell? Well, not this one. It truly is Unscented and I love that! Every time I use it, I can see how radiant and refreshed my skin looks and feel how soft and smooth it is. Live Ultimate Camu Complex is the only Anti Aging Cream Moisturizer I will ever use from here on out!

Loving this cream. It's heavy enough that it works great as a spa day treat, but it absorbs nicely so it works for a morning skin treat before you put your face on to fight the days battles. The smell is very light so it won't clash with your favorite cologne and the extra left on your hands after massaging it into your face is so nice on your hands. And purely aesthetics, the jar is beautiful but simply elegant. All around a winner.As an aside, purely personal, I am allergic to so many things on the market today so I am hesitant to try new things. This one makes my face feel a little warm, but I don't pink up and no hives. Win Win for me :)

I am in love with this face cream. First let me start out by saying that the jar is very pretty and of high quality as is the cream itself. I just turned 46 yrs old and have been searching for a great face cream. The cream feels so good on my face. I have very sensitive skin and this did not irritate my skin at all. It goes on your face with out leaving an oily residue and it smells very clean and fresh. My husband touched my face last night and told said "wow your face feels so soft" I would highly recommend this product to everyone.

OMG! I just put this on my face! Wow, wow, wow.....I not only feel a difference, there is actually a physical difference in my skin..that fast! I will be using it as a night cream, as I have very oily skin and can't use anything during the day at all. But, I can use this at night. It didn't leave me feeling greasy, and it did not increase my oil over night. The jar is very elegant, the cream is super creamy and has no scent at all...perfect for sensitive skin. I love this stuff!
