I have drawers and even a closet full of skin care products. I've been easily spending $200+ every month on the best money can buy. Great product. I'm always afraid to try anything new on my skin. My skin is very sensitive. Many products cause me to get a rash & I waste money on products I try once & can't continue to use. That was not the case with Essence2beauty eye gel. I like that it's ingredients contain organic Aloe. It feels very refreshing when applied. I suffer from insomnia & very often my eyes are irritated & puffy. This product works well to brighten the areas around my eyes & very much reduces the puffiness. It's cool & refreshing. Does not cause me to have any allergic reaction which is great so I can continue to use it. The pump works well too. My only issue is the writing on the container is hard for me to read because it's small but I got a great e-mail from them without contacting them explaining how to apply the gel. I was really stupid to put this around my eyes, the directions themselves say to avoid contact with your eyes! The reason why I did it was because this product really does make my skin feel more moisturized and healthier. That said, for my eyes it just caused a slightly stinging feeling and just didn’t feel right. I wish it did not have that feeling in and around my eyes because for the most part the product is good, it does not have a bad smell and it does not feel greasy when I use it. For my eyes I’ve been using this soothing eye cream. It is very mild and has eliminated some of the dark circles around my eyes. I’d say the combination of both products has made me pretty happy with my complexion over the past 5 or so months, and I will continue to buy them.

My husband has done a couple reviews on purchases on Amazon, but I personally never have. I wanted to save it for something really worth it. I FOUND THAT THING REALLY WORTH IT.I turned 31 a couple of months ago and I started seeing scowl lines between my eyebrows and a few soft lines for crows feet. I am not vain, but I want to delay aging as long as I can. I am a mom of 3 girls (a 4.5 year old and twin 2.5 year olds) as well as work from home 55 hours a week. I don't want to spend a bunch of money on something for myself (I prefer to spend them on good diapers or fun educational toys), but I needed SOMETHING to help with anti-aging.I used Olay's BB cream and while I loved the color, it made me breakout like a teenager. Out it went. I googled forever to find something affordable and worked. I wasn't about to spend $40-$200 on something that *might* work or made me breakout.Then... I found this $11 wonder. If it didn't work, no big deal, at least I had a moisturizer that hopefully wouldn't make me breakout. OHhhhh, but it not only made my skin SUPER SOFT and didn't make me breakout, but it works AMAZIIIINNNNNNGGGGG!!!!Seriously. The two lines between my eyebrows are plumped up and GONE. I've had those lines for at least 3-4 years. The fine lines around my eyes are far less noticeable. I had a line under each of my eyes that I thought was from exhaustion or swollen from lack of water. NO, it was aging!!! The lines are almost gone.The only thing is it does have fragrance, so if you have super sensitive skin, I wouldn't get it. If you get it into your eyes, it does burn a bit from the chemicals and scent. It does tingle where you apply it the thickest. I use it as both a wrinkle treatment and as a regular moisturizer and put a thicker amount on the wrinkles and around my eyes to get more absorbed.I hope this helped! I am buying this again as soon as I run out! :)

I bought this from a department store by accident. I thought I was buying an eye cream. Well, I'm quite pleased I happened upon this product. I tried it the next day. It really does give your skin a firmer, smoother, more even appearance. What I like the best about it is that it absorbs very quickly and leaves a very soft, matte feel. No greasiness, stickiness or shine. Perfect for under makeup. For that reason alone it's a wonderful day cream. Feels great on skin and I do believe it makes my skin look firmer too. This accident turned into an everyday must-have!

I originally got this at Costco, but of course when I went to get more, it's not being stocked any longer...rather than drive all over the city, I ordered from Amazon...it came quickly, and well packaged. The product? I have older, oily, sensitive skin on my face, so need something light. I really like this cream! I use it just as told and it has been working wonders. I've used many anti-aging creams in the past and they never seemed to do anything. To be honest I had my doubts about this product, but I read about the use of this product combination with a Vitamin C serum, and now I'm seeing legitimate results.Prior to finding out about this trick, I would just waste all my money. This cream is a great price and actually works when you pair it with a Vitamin C like this. The trick is actually quite simple. You'll notice that when applying the EB5 cream, it is actually quite thick and leaves a residue on your face. This makes its very inappropriate for use during the day, especially if you need to (or want to) wear make-up. However, if you only use this at night, and then use the Vitamin C during the day, you'll get the benefits of both with no issues. I am middle-aged mother of two with enough wrinkles and lines on my face to prove it fives times over! I tried this cream after reading the reviews even though it seemed pretty expensive to me. I used it for about a month (still have some left so it lasts a long time, thats a plus!) and I didn't have a negative experience like some of the other reviewers had shared. However, I didn't really notice any huge difference either so for me, its kind of a middle of the road product; not great but not terrible. For the price, I'm afraid it was not worth it in my book.A female friend recommended the good n natural brand of their vitiman a cream (Retinol Cream (Vitamin A) - 2 oz. + FREE St. Ives Renewing Collagen Elastin Advanced Body Moisturizer Gift Set) and I have been using it ever since. Besides it being half the price and making my skin look and feel like I hoped this other cream would, they give you this tea tree blemish stick for free which is the coolest thing in the world if you ever get pimples or blemishes of any kind. Amazon is the coolest invention since peanut butter and jelly, you just need to search a little for the best deal.

The face cream is ok. The main thing I'm not happy with is how much I paid for it, compared to some other's that I have purchased. The cream is quite thick, which is ok for a night cream, but to me it's to thick to wear under make-up. I wouldn't purchase it again, mainly because of the price. You ladies are going to laugh, but....I love the face cream I buy at the dollar store...called Oil of Beauty. That stuff is awesome, and the perfect consistency for under make-up

Buyer Beware -- potential Toxic Ingredients

The positive reviews of this cream seduced me to try it, but I would have liked to have seen the ingredients. Upon receipt of this cream, I saw the ingredients included triethanolamine (TEA) and methyl- and propyl-parabens, easily investigated on the web by Googling the names. These ingredients have been identified in research as potential carcinogens. The TEA mimics estrogen, and thus, may also be a teratogen and mess up developing (embryonic) systems. Furthermore, mineral oil is one of the major ingredients of this rather expensive cream. So, back it goes! Mothers and grandmothers may have thought well of this cream, but they did not have the science then as we do now. I feel that the manufacturer's lack of disclosing the ingredients on the website is an attempt to deceive unaware buyers.

I'm over 60, and I need something more potent than this cream for my eyes, even when I combine it with the peptide cream. I do, however, love it as a lip moisturizer. It helps diminish the fine lines above my upper lip. Probably a good product for younger women.

Fantabulous!!!.Love it Love it Love it! I had to have some botox treatments recently for some severe migraines I was experiencing and the botox eventually traveled from my forhead to my upper eyelid making it sag quite a bit. I was horrified to say the least, so I ordered the Hope in a Tube Eye and Lip Cream hoping it would at least tighten the skin up a little and it really helped quite a bit. I'm also using the Hope in a bottle and Purity Facial Cleanser. I've been on the regime for about two weeks now and I'm already seeing a world of difference, what's more is my husband has noticed too! I'll be purchasing more of the Hope line....but definately!

Like the Hope in a Jar by philosophy, this product has diazolidinyl urea, a formaldehyde releaser (You can look it up on Wikipedia). It's towards the end of the ingredients list, so there's not a lot of it, but still, I do not want to have formaldehyde (It's a fixative. You can also look it up on Wikipedia) any where near my face, especially around my eyes where my skin is the most sensitive. Before I had started paying attention to ingredients in general, I had tried using this cream because I had gotten it as a gift. Within 5 minutes after applying, my eyes would start watering so much that I'd have to wash this off. I would never recommend this product to anyone.

It Simply Works

This formula performs - I have been using Repechage for years - and this cream locked more moisture into my skin after one application than my whole experience with pricey French-based marine cosmetics. It's not greasy at all - it absorbs very well into the skin - even the day time formula. My skin feels like a baby's butt (!) and it is healthier and cleaner. I'm so impressed, and very happy I tried it.

I have been using the Olay products since about July 2006 and am very pleased. I use the Regenerist Night Recovery Moisturizing Treatment at night on my whole face and neck, after washing with Dove Regenerating Calming Night Soap (liquid, navy colored bottle) and I use Olay Smooth Skin Exfoliating Scrub about once or twice a week at night. In the morning, I use Avon ANew Eye Lift Cream around my eyes and then Olay Regenerist Deep Hydration Regenerating Cream on my entire face and neck. I think this combo, particularly the Olay Regenerist products have made me look YEARS younger--with the grace of God, of course. I added the Regenerist Night Recovery about 2 months ago, and it made a difference for me. Lots of people at work tell me I look younger, too. My skin feels great! It's firm and velvet soft. And wait till I tell you, I have lost 50 pounds in the last 9 months! Why do you care? Well, my face should be sagging all over the place with that kind of a weight loss, especially since I carried that weight for years and my skin was well-stretched. I bought this cream because of the hype & good reviews I have seen and heard. Unfortunately it didn't work on my skin, I broke out very badly. The smell was a little bit strong, but I did like the texture of the cream. I didn't break out until about the 4 night of using it so ladies be careful!However, I talked to a customer representative and they were kind enough to give me a full refund, so overall it was a bummer it didn't work but now I can purchase something else!

Fantastic product. I've been using this just under a month and my face is pretty again!I am 56 with delicate fair skin. Had a red nose and chin, some nasty clogged pores on my cheeks, and general saggy-ness.Very sad.Yes, I have gone to great lengths and paid too much for big name products that did nothing at all.I've tried Retin-A, (ouch!) peels, (ouch! ) department store brands with fancy french names ( $$).But Olay Regenerist is the only product that has made a change. I was nervous about the slight tint and fragrance, but they don't bother my skin a bit. It plumps everything up as soon as I put it on, and in the morning, Oh Mama…I look GOOD.I should add that I also use the Cream cleanser, Skin Tightening serum, and Deep Hydration moisturizer ( as a day cream). The redness is GONE…I've had it my whole life and it's GONE. No more cloggy pores. My jawline and eyelids are back.

I started using this in combination with their daily regenerist cream. I couldn't be happier. I look at least five years younger and it has taken away that tired, drawn look. My wrinkles are much less noticable. More importantly, as I have tried tons of products, it has reduced my under eye circles. This is no small feat. I have super dark blue, very hollow/sunken-in circles that, even with cover up, are still dark and shadowed because they are sunk in. This has plumped up the skin below my eyes, and, in addition to getting rid of much of the wrinkling, it has made it easier to put cover-up on the remaining discoloration, as it has taken away at least half of the sunken in look and darkness. Really a big difference in only a week of religiously using it. I highly recommend this!

A Great Daily BB Cream for Dry Skin

I had to review this product when I saw it had one star by someone else & in my opinion that is not at all deserved. I use several different BB creams & have tried many. I should add that I am nearly 50 years old and have lolive skin that is normal. No lines or wrinkles but uneven skin tone. I use light to medium in other products but need med-dark with this one. I use Garnier BB cream for casual daytime wear. For me it evens out my skin tone and is easy to spread. It does leave my face glowy and not matte. However like all BB creams if you want it to look polished use a small amount of sheer powder. Sometimes instead of powder I use Garnier BB Cream med-dark for OILY skin OVER this in just a few areas. I tried the one for oily skin alone and for me it just didn't have the glow this one does. But if I put on this BB cream and then just tap some of the oily skin product on areas that need a little more matte, it works well. But most will prefer a bit of sheer powder. As I said, I use this when I need to rush out the door and I think it's easy to blend too. If so I won't bother with powder or anything. But I may dot on the Garnier BB cream for oily skin over it if I have time. For contrast, when I want to look polished I use a higher end Korean BB Cream called Missha. That one requires a little more focus to blend properly. I use no. 27 which I would have though was too dark but I tried 23 and it seemed like it wasn't right for olive toned skin. So I strongly recommend Missha BB cream for the most polished look and more skin flaws. This Garnier works well if your skin mostly needs evening out and you want a casual daytime look. If your skin is truly oily try the oily skin version alone.

I am nearly sixty and people think I'm younger. This is what I use instead of foundation. It is a sunscreen and makes your skin feel and look good as well. It gives color to your skin as well as a smooth texture. I am so glad it is not a gel base because those products roll on you the more you apply and make your skin look dirty. This goes on clean and stays on clean all day long. I really appreciate this product.

I really wanted to like this, but, I find that I get breakouts when I use it. I have light-medium skin, and I didn't find that the light-medium shade made any difference in my skin's appearance after applying, so just putting on for light coverage days instead of foundation didn't have the effect I wanted. I'm 53, and have pretty good skin, and I really didn't see any difference in tone or texture after using the cream for several weeks. Instead of feeling silky when applying, I feel like I'm putting a petroleum-based product on my skin, an oily undertone. I also don't care for the scent, it kind of smells like cheap mascara to me.

Lightest shade is too dark even for medium skin

I ordered this BB cream in the light/medium, and it's too dark for me. I typically wear a "buff beige" or "natural beige" foundation, which is usually the 3rd or 4th from lightest in most brands of foundation. I feel like I clearly fall into the middle of the category of light/medium skin, so I'm pretty disappointed that this product didn't work for me. I'll keep this to wear in late August once I'm tan, but the product is basically unusable as is. The product itself seems good, but the color is a deal breaker, since there's no way to order a lighter shade.

I had high hopes for this product, because I have been using the other (not anti-aging) BB Cream and really liked it. However, this stuff smells odd--almost like menthol--and the fumes bother my eyes. This stuff is also very greasy and heavy feeling. I don't find it to be good at evening out skin tones, as the color goes on in streaks. I decided to use it only for weekends at the lake or when we'll be outdoors doing yard work, because it doesn't look good enough for use at work. It really doesn't do what it promises when it comes to appearance, and the smell is awful.
